Feeling less lazy!

But not 100%. I've been taking vitamins for an iron & vitamin d deficiency and I think they're doing their job! My house is still a disaster but I've managed to get out of the house with the kids. We saw Horton Hears a Who this week and the kids loved it (as did I). eggs This morning we dyed eggs. Instead of having the kids dip the eggs in colors I bought these really cute dye kits that look sort of like water colors and the kids rolled the colors on with a sponge roller. The eggs look great. bridesmaid dress Last weekend I got out (sans kids, woo hoo) to go see my best friend try on her wedding dress. It's simply gorgeous! So are our bridesmaid's dresses. The color is raisin. BTW, the laundry FINALLY got done! Unfortunately it's still sitting in baskets scattered around the house.

Laundry STILL isn’t done!

And it's not ALL due to my laziness. Glenie got sent home from school (again) on Wednesday, he spit up a bit and possibly had pink eye.  I took him to the doctor and he does indeed have pink eye.  FUN FUN FUN  Luckily it's very mild but the boy won't let me put drops in his eye.pulling hair So he's home until Monday and with Glen having to go to physical therapy for his shoulder after work, there hasn't been any time to go to the laundromat.  Add to all that the fact that I'm EXHAUSTED daily and I don't think it's ever going to get done.  Oh well!

Multi-slacking mama!

This appropriate tidbit was posted by a dear friend of mine and certainly applies to me. Multi-slacking
I know you've heard of multi-tasking but have you ever heard of multi-slacking??multi-slacking: the act (or art) of performing multiple non-productive tasks at once. The best multi-slackers simultaneously talk on the phone, surf the web and break up preschooler cat fights. I think that pretty much sums me up!

Laundry will wait . . . again!

Obviously I don't mind so much! wink Although the reason why makes me feel bad. I was dressing Glenie for school. I stand him on the coffee table as it makes life much easier. When he lifted his leg to put in his pants he somehow slipped back. He obviously didn't have a good hold of me like he usually does and I tried to grab him, only to make matters worse by scratching him under his arm instead. oops Glenie was very upset after this and opted not to go to school. So I have both kids home today and I have no intentions of going to the laundromat with both of them. So laundry waits until this evening after husband gets home.

I’m THE Lazy Mom

Laundry really, really needs to be done but one thing or another has stood in my way (mainly my laziness). So last night I had to run out and get my son new undies because all his were dirty and I was NOT doing laundry on Sunday. Laundromats are crazy on the weekend. I intended to do laundry today, or some of it, after my doctors appointment today. But my son got sent home from school, he wasn't feeling well, so that stopped todays laundry. So I had to run out to get him something to wear to school. At least that turned out well. I happen to find a beautiful $98 coat on sale for $4.99! Anyway, that was my lazy day. Tomorrow, laundry is a MUST. Lets see what else this lazy mom can get done.
